Sanna Dahlman

Sanna Dahlman is a product designer and holds an MFA from HDK, Academy of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg.
Sanna is an artistic teacher of the programs Industrial Design Engineering and Design and Product Development. She teaches design-related subjects such as product semiotics, color theory, design methodology and the activities integrated in the design process.

Sanna has long experience as a product designer in the industry, where she had varied design assignments, ranging from smart storage solutions and product for children’s activities to products supporting different disabilities. She has a great interested in the importance of tacit knowledge of the hand in design processes.
Another area of interest is to explore methods for concretizing and communicating various aspects of product design in teaching.
Besides teaching, Sanna has participated in research projects on Co-design.
