Value-of-Information Driven Communication for Connected and Automated Transportation (VoiiComm)
Research Project , 2020 –

The VoiiComm project is motivated by the urgent need for efficient vehicular communication solutions to advance the transition to connected and automated transportation to improve traffic safety and efficiency. The purpose is to promote a paradigm shift towards a value-of-information (VoI) driven design to make efficient use of the scarce network resources. The main tasks include the establishment of a theoretical framework and practical methods for evaluating and modeling VoI, as well as developing efficient communication strategies.
