Exploring linkages between Industry 4.0 and sustainable manufacturing: a review content analysis

The
Industry 4.0 and sustainable development phenomena are directly redefining the industrial production. Due this reason current scientific literature has been investigating how the 4th Revolution interact or influence sustainable manufacturing. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the academic progress in Industry 4.0 and Sustainable Manufacturing simultaneously, proposing as the main result a review content analysis. The main results provided a list of prominent journals and popular conferences, summary of the main authors and their institutions. Moreover, presents a semantic network, illustrating current research efforts and suggesting future research directions.
