Increased Value of Demand Side Management by Reshaping the Load Duration Curve with Wind and Solar Power
Paper i proceeding, 2019

More and more wind and solar are installed to limit the global warming. Demand side management is often seen as a tool to allow more renewables to be integrated. Most studies are done on transmission level but on the distribution level there will be synergies that will increase the value of DSM in Sweden as is exemplified here for Herrljunga Elektriska AB. Even though only minor load redistribution is needed, large savings can be expected which gives possibilities for a high reimbursement per kWh.
