Postdoc at Electric Power Engineering

Research Area: Optimal Scheduling of Renewable Energy Technologies in Active Distribution Networks under Uncertainties. Brief of the Thesis: I am currently working on the Optimization-based scheduling algorithms at operational and operational-planning horizon considering the technical models of RETs and grid for the viability of large-scale integration of the RETs and Electric Vehicles while maximizing the social welfare for economic viability of the market participants (including electrical demand and generation). Research Interests : Mathematical Optimization formulations, Linear and Quadratic Optimization frameworks, Optimal Scheduling of RETs, Data Driven Uncertainty models and frameworks, Electric Vehicles, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Operation and Control of RETs in Distribution Systems, Operation-planning studies, economic viability analysis of RETs
