Doctoral Student at Automatic Control

Elena Malz is a PhD student in the automatic control research group and her research lies within airborne wind energy systems. The task is the development of optimisation models that describe properly the interaction between the mechanical and electrical components. The main focus is on the problem of power fluctuation in AWE systems and the grid interactions including constraints and dynamics of the power grid.
