Maude Hasbi

Researcher at Science,Technology and Society

Maude Hasbi is researcher in digital economics at the division Science Technology and Society at Chalmers. Her research focuses mainly on the assessment of the impact of very high-speed broadband networks on local economic growth and social development. She joined first Chalmers as a post-doctoral researcher in September 2017. She got her Ph.D at Telecom ParisTech (2017) and worked 3 years at the regulatory department of Orange (France Telecom). Her thesis approaches several issues related to the impact of sector-specific regulation on competition and investments in the electronic communication sector. In parallel of economics, she studied law and worked a year at the legal department of ARCEP, the French telecommunication Regulator.
