Abhishek Joshi

Doktorand at Chalmers, Electrical Engineering, Electric Power Engineering, Power grids and Components

Abhishek Joshi is a Ph.D. student at the division of High Voltage Engineering. As a researcher, he works on improving reliability of mechanical bearings within a wind turbine generator. The goal is to increase the understanding of the mechanisms behind current induced damages in bearings in wind power applications. Increase the understanding of electrical discharges in thin (possibly polluted) lubricating films and how these can be related to the mechanical erosion in the bearing.
