Rasmus Lavén
Rasmus Lavén is, since September 2018, a PhD student at the Division of Energy and Materials under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Maths Karlsson. His research focuses on the study of local structure and dynamics of hydrogen-containing oxides of relevance for the development of next-generation, environment friendly, fuel cells and solar cells. The project is mainly experimental in nature and involves the use of inelastic and quasielastic neutron scattering. Rasmus also takes part in a project focusing on the development of a new neutron method for studying dynamics on surfaces and interfaces. This project is run in collaboration with research groups at Uppsala University, ISIS neutron facility (U.K.) , and the University of Pavia (Italy).
