Doctoral Student at Biomedical Signals and Systems

Tiffany Hamstreet is a PhD student in the Biomedical Signals and Systems research unit. Her research is focused on the development of muscle synergies for control of the human hand in early childhood and after traumatic injury or surgery. Improved understanding of motor control development will have important applications in neurorehabilitation and the restoration or supplementation of motor function via neuroprosthesis.
