Hooman Karimi Abadeh

Doctoral Student at Energy and Material

Hooman is a Ph.D. student, focusing on the corrosion phenomena that occur in biomass and waste-fueled Chemical Looping Combustion (CLC) boilers. He strives to gain a deeper mechanistic understanding of high-temperature corrosion in various alloys with the potential for use in such plants. He hopes to pave the path for the utilization of highly efficient CLC plants that can produce heat and electricity while achieving negative carbon emissions, contributing to global sustainability efforts.
