Emilie Adouane
Emilie is a Postdoc researcher at the Unit of Maritime Environmental Sciences and works on "Lignin-vegetable oil oleogels towatd fully green, sustainable, self-healing, wear resistant, anti-corrosion and antifouling coatingsā. This project aims to evaluate the durability and ecotoxicity of innovative antifouling coatings while comparing them with existing commercial products. With a Ph.D in the chemistry of natural substances, she specializes in the study of marine biofilm, in particular the chemical communication mechanisms that enable their formation, as well as in the research of eco-compatible antifouling solutions targeting these mechanisms.
