Aina Mc Evoy
Aina is a doctoral student in the Division of Water Environment Technology. Her research is focused on developing sensors for monitoring drinking water quality.
The supply of safe drinking water is an ongoing challenge. In the context of water treatment, the investigation of options for fast and easily available means of detecting compounds that compromise drinking water quality is of particular importance.
An important part of Aina's research explores the application of oxygen sensors and fluorescent spectroscopy for detecting and monitoring organic compounds in water quality measurements.
The project is funded by FORMAS.
