I initiated my PhD project in the High Voltage Engineering Group in December 2011. The research project is about the “Performance of high voltage polymeric insulation affected by space and surface charges”. The goal of the project is to deliver knowledge on properties and behavior of high voltage polymeric insulation systems in presence of space and surface charges. The project results can contribute to required changes in the electrical insulation system to improve the performance of insulators for distributing and transmitting electrical power in a sustainable 21st century society.
