Doctoral Student at Supply and Operations Management

Altahir is a PhD student at Supply and Operations Management division at the department of Technology Management and Economics. Altahir's background is in Chemical Engineering, and he earned his master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Westminster, UK. He also has nearly a decade of industry experience, during which he helped two pharmaceuticals manufacturing companies develop their supply chains.

Altahir’s research focuses on closed-loop supply chains and digitalization, investigating how firms through remanufacturing can close the supply chain loop, and how digital technologies (e.g., IoT, RFID, and CPS) can be leveraged to mitigate the increased uncertainties in remanufacturing.
