Benedick Allan Strugnell-Lees

Doctoral Student at Automatic Control

Benedick is a doctoral researcher in the department of electrical engineering's automatic control research group. His research focuses on the optimal usage and properties of BESS units using 2nd-life batteries. He is currently involved in a project to develop self-adapting predictive aging algorithms for 2nd-life batteries of various chemistries and structures. As a second component of this project, Benedick is working on the design of optimal control systems for 2nd-life BESS units management and implementation.
