“Physical Environmental Design - Significance and Impact on Patients and Health Professionals in Technology-Intensive Care Settings”My research project is about technique intensive environments in health care and these impacts on users -patients and health professionals. It has been shown that they created high-tech environment, created for better diagnosis and treatment also has a negative effects on patients and staff, such as stress, irritability etc. A lot of documented studies indicate that health care buildings design is important and can help promote health and wellbeing for patients, their families and health care professionals.The main intention is to contribute to knowledge in the design of Technology-Intensive Care Settings. The result is expected to be a source of knowledge and support better programs and planning processes in new construction and renovations.
