Karl Norberg
Karl's doctoral project is conducted within the excellence center for railway mechanics, CHARMEC, and focuses on optimizing the maintenance of turnouts through the use of digital twin methods with Life Cycle Cost Analyses. In 2022, Karl received his master's degree in railway engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. Before his doctoral studies, he worked as a railway consultant in a variety of projects, such as technical investigations of track and civil structure technology, early investigations of capacity-increasing measures and technical coordination within design projects.
