Lars Lindgren

Doctoral Student at Automatic Control

Lars Lindgren is a PhD student in the research group for Automatic Control. In his research, he focuses on how infrastructure for electric vehicles should be designed. This may include e.g. normal chargers, fast chargers and electric roads. This is strongly linked to traffic patterns, the load on the power grid as well as size and longevity of the batteries in electric vehicles. The research is done in collaboration with Volvo Group and Lindholmen science park AB. As a special case, battery operation of mining trucks is also being investigated in collaboration with Boliden Mineral AB.
