Maria Kandaurova
Maria Kandaurova is a Doctoral student at the Division of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at TME. She has completed her Master of Science in Management (MScM) degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. Maria’s master’s thesis consisted of several experimental studies on Virtual Reality (VR) applications in social marketing and resulted in a first-author paper in the Journal of Business Research.
Before embarking on her PhD journey at Chalmers, Maria worked in digital transformation at SKF. Maria's research interests are in digitalization and the influence of the convergence of disruptive technologies, such as artificial intelligence, IoT and smart robots at the organizational and societal levels.
Maria takes part in the 4Boards.ai - The Challenges of AI for Sustainable and Innovative Corporate Governance project. This ongoing initiative aims to develop and disseminate research-based knowledge and a framework, as well as a set of best practices to enable boards to successfully govern and leverage AI in their innovation and sustainability efforts.
