Magnus Strandberg
Magnus' assignments at GARD have been divided between three major projects: HERSCHEL, APEX and ALMA. For the HERSCHEL project the assignment has been vacuum technology, cryogenic technology. Also development of electronics and different software were done. The APEX project main part has been the building of the control system for the facility receiver. The project has involved development of electronics and software development for test system and development/building of the receiver system. Magnus is currently working with the ALMA project where he obtained a technical licentiate from Chalmers University of Technology in 2011 that involved cryogenic and mechanical design of the ALMA Band 5 cartridge.
