In her project, Nefeli focuses on data from port state control inspections within the Paris Memorandum of Understanding, to investigate potential environmental impacts from shipping. The goal is to identify the environmental impacts that ships from gray or blacklisted countries pose to the marine environment. Nefeli has an interdisciplinary background, with a master’s degree in marine science from the University of Gothenburg.
