Aida Nikbakht
I work with high temperature corrosion. Alkali fluoride and chloride salts have applications in industrial processes like thermal energy storage and happen to be in the some processes like battery recycling. The containment material in these industries is exposed to high temperature corrosion, which I research in my PhD. My publications so far are on LiF and NaF salts and have mostly worked with nickel based alloys. Thermodynamic calculations have also been concuted in these systems.
