I have been employed as an industrial PhD student at Biolin Scientific since 2009 working in close collaboration with Biological Physics at Chalmers where I perform most of my research. My research is mainly focused on using and optimizing the Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation (QCM-D) monitoring technique for a variety of biosensing applications such as antibody-antigen interactions, protein conformational changes, carbohydrate-protein interactions and cell morphology. In addition to QCM-D my studies also include complementary, surface sensitive techniques such as surface plasmon resonance, ellipsometry and microscopy.
