Nils Johan Engelsen

Assistant Professor at Quantum Technology

I am a tenure-track assistant professor leading a research group studying hybrid quantum systems of photonics, mechanical resonators and cold atoms. The aim of our research is to exploit the strengths of these quantum systems to advance sensing and fundamental physics, for example by using quantum control over cold atoms to generate macroscopic quantum superposition states of mechanical resonators. For more information, please refer to the group website.
