Oliver Sjögren

Doctoral Student at Fluid Dynamics

Since February 2020 Oliver Sjögren is a PhD student in the turbomachinery group at the division of fluid dynamics. The focus of his research concerns mainly systems analysis of civil aero engines. The aim of the project is to develop methods for evaluation of fan system performance in order to distinguish the essential technologies for the next generation engines. This is mainly achieved by extending the in-house developed engine systems analysis code GESTPAN and by performing detailed analysis of the fan system through the aid of CFD.
