Olof Hjortstam

Adjunct Professor at Electric Power Engineering

Olof Hjortstam is an Adjunct Professor at the division of Electric Power Engineering. He has been an employee at ABB since 1998 and has most of the time been working at the ABB Corporate Research Center in Västerås. In 2016 he was appointed a Senior Principal Scientist in High Voltage Insulation Systems. Olof has a broad technical background in various fields: solid state physics, semiconductor physics, material science, electromagnetic apparatuses, process metallurgy, and HV Physics and engineering.
