Trond Haug
I hold an MSc degree in nanotechnology from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2020. As a master's student I spent one year at UC Berkeley and one year at the Center for Quantum Spintronics at NTNU. In my thesis I studied ultrafast dynamics in two-dimensional antiferromagnets. I joined the Quantum Photonics Laboratory (QPL) and Wallenberg Center for Quantum Technology (WACQT) in August 2022 after moving from a position as process engineer at Safran Sensing Technologies Norway. My research interests are quantum computing and quantum communication, with emphasis on building architectures that allow quantum technology to scale to fault tolerance.
