Postdoc at Maritime Studies

Jorge Enrique Velandia Vargas works at the maritime environmental sciences group evaluating the environmental impacts of trucks from a life cycle perspective. He acts as a postdoctoral researcher for HEER project, which aims to quantify the carbon footprint of hydrogen production, via diverse production routes, adequate for fuel cells. Parallelly, he evaluates the potential environmental impacts of using hydrogen in internal combustion engines. His research also focuses on the impacts of the infrastructure required for hydrogen distribution. Has worked in Brazil, India, Colombia and Sweden.
