Michail Vourakis
Michail Vourakis is a Doctoral student at the Department of Mechanics and Maritime Sciences, within the Division of Fluid Mechanics. Michail’s research involves computational and experimental aeroacoustics for turbomachinery applications. His PhD aims to investigate the impact of generic installation disturbances and fan clustering on the noise generation of electric fans (eFans) in cars and trucks. The goal of his PhD is to reduce the noise generated by eFans without compromising their performance, towards the development of electromobility.
