Tove Widén

Doctoral Student at Industrial Biotechnology

Tove Widén joined the division of industrial biotechnology as a PhD student in July 2021. Her research focuses on enzymatic deconstruction of microbial polysaccharides that form protective structures. The aim is to find enzymes that are able to specifically target microbial structures but are non-toxic to human cells, with the ultimate goal of being used in therapeutics.
