Yongzhi Zhang

Yongzhi is a Postdoc in the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, Urban Mobility Systems research group. His research interests include modeling and control of battery management systems and electric transport, with the aim to improve their efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Yongzhi has developed many techniques for battery state estimation and continues to focus on new methods to ensure the safe and efficient operation of batteries under all use conditions. He has published many papers related to predicting when the battery will need to be recharged and replaced.
