Neutron and X-ray science for industrial technology transitions (NeXT)
Research Project, 2021
– 2023
Purpose and goal: Sustainable development of industry requires major technology transitions to more resource effective materials, produced by innovative methods, with better performance and durability in service as well as more circular systems.
The proposed competence centre will make use of state-of-the-art large-scale research infrastructures to gain in-situ and -operando understandings of inorganic materials and processes in order to drive technology transitions widely in industry. This project aims to set the direction of the competence centre.
