ELÄTTRA - Utilization of high-tensile steel to reduce weight and environmental impact from large ships
Research Project, 2022 – 2023

The project concretely aims to enable higher utilization of high-strength steel in ship constructions, through policy influence and example constructions. The use of HT steel reduces the amount of steel and even if the steel is fossil-free produced, the most environmentally friendly is the steel that never needs to be produced
