A/B test driven Systems Engineering
Research Project, 2019
– 2023
Purpose and goal
This autumn´s goal is to conduct a study (scientific article) at VCC on the factors and cultures that hinder the introduction of A/B testing, and to launch the first A/B test pilot on "climate control". Zenuity and VGTT have similar goals, but limited to data collection and awareness.
Expected results and effects
We expect a publishable first paper from Aita (PhD student) at the beginning of next year, as well as an ongoing pilot at VCC. This means that we have about 10 company cars where a team on "climate control" actively listens to how these 10 (employees) customers are using the climate system, while the same team prepares the first real experiments, ie to carry out experiments to update software in some selected cars and evaluate data. We also expect a new political discussion at VCC, Zenuity and VGTT about the method. At the same time, VGTT and Zenuity will also have data collection directly to teams
