Driver modelling with retinal optic flow
Research Project, 2023

The research project aim to investigate in detail how humans exploit the perceived visual information for curvilinear locomotor control through intermittent control paradigm .
This is done through studying directly of the immediate visual information, seen by the agent or research participants, and the response actions. In this project, the simulated and rendered images are extensively saved with accompanying gaze behaviour data. Combining these, yields the visual motion flow as projected to the retina of eye, retinal optic flow. Further additional vehicular interface data is collected such as steering wheel data, and pedal data to associate the each response action to the perception.
