Waste Heat Recovery for Zero-Emission Aviation
Research Project, 2026

The project focuses on key technology for zero-emission aero-engines through waste heat recovery (WHR). The development of technologies for heat recovery that are suitable for aircraft is a crucial step toward zero-emission aviation and a very high-impact research topic. The project aim is to utilize unique opportunities of having available WHR facilities and develop a road map for WHR research in the Laboratory of Fluids and Thermal Sciences.
