Open Science Plan-Track-Assess Pathways (OSTrails)
Research Project, 2024
– 2027
A collaborative initiative to promote FAIR research.
In the intricate realm of scientific research, the fragmentation and inefficiency in managing data hinders the progress of FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable) research practices. Existing infrastructure struggles to create an interconnected landscape. For instance, the absence of an open, high-quality ecosystem hampers the traceability of research.
With this in mind, the EU-funded OSTrails project will work collaboratively with 38 partners and 24 pilots to transform data management, establish interoperable knowledge graphs and deliver modular FAIR tests, ultimately providing a comprehensive solution to drive FAIR research practices forward. OSTrails recognises the diverse landscape, fostering a collaborative approach to enhance traceability and evidence-based evaluation in research.
