Digital Arena Sweden
Research Project, 2026 – 2029

The project will build on successful testbeds in 5G and 6G, and together establish a new national test center for advanced digital infrastructure, the “Digital Arena Sweden”. Current and next‑generation digital infrastructure capabilities will be established as a foundation with national coverage, opening up a sustainable offering and facilitation of access to the arena both in terms of testing, education and knowledge sharing. This supports industry innovation through co-innovation, dedicated experts, and lower the entry barriers to innovating new connected services and products.
The project creates a unified national capability that bridges  research novelty and utilization. The result is not only successful pilots, but a structural improvement in Sweden’s capacity to test and industrialize solutions relying on advanced digital infrastructure.
Partners include Lund Un, Chalmers Un., KTH, RISE/AZ, Ericsson, Telia, Trafikverket, Eiride.
