Parametric amplifiers for superconducting quantum information processing
Research Project, 2016

We propose starting a collaboration between an academic research group led by the main applicant and the small, local company Low Noise Factory AB (abbreviated LNF).

We aim to develop ultra-low-noise microwave amplifiers for the massively parallel readout of qubits in quantum processors. This work is based on our research at the forefront of quantum engineering of superconducting nanodevices. Our goals are to design, fabricate, and characterize a functional device, and ultimate to commercialize it for use in quantum information technology.
