Digital platform twin - DPT
Research Project , 2017 – 2022

This project aim to create necessary preconditions for reusing data gathered from systems in use and relate to previous designs. In this way, new products can be assessed based in experience gained from previous designs in combination of their use. The target is to enable modelling and expliration of new, alternative, configurations that represent the interplay between a range of roducts and production equipment, that is a digital twin defined from a platform perspective.

The project seek to improve the abiloty to assess ris, potential and analyse value of technology content, which are necessary for successful introduction to the market.

The project is divided into two phases, the first to define the digital twin concept until 2019, whereafter a project applying and developing capabilities operating on the digital twin.
