Development of ink formulations for On/Off inkjet textile deying
Research Project, 2017 – 2018

Short term fashion and design put a high stress on flexibility that is nowadays further pressured by the recycling/reuse of the raw materials. This project aims at developing a jettable ink that can be removed on-demand. By capitalizing on an on-going PhD project that focuses on pigment-based dye stuff with an in-built On/Off switch, we will extent the scope to ink formulations to be tested on a domestic inkjet printer. Protocols for de-colorization will also be investigated.
