Matching variable renewables with infrastructures and measures part 1
Research Project, 2019

The aim of this work package is to provide an increased understanding of the full value chain of the
power system in terms of costs and benefits from different configurations of the technologies employed. Moreover, different electricity system designs can thrive from different levels of variable
renewables (VRES), e.g. wind- and solar power employment, and hence, finding and describing suitable combinations of variation management strategies, grid structures, market setups at certain
levels of VRES employment levels.
