Gender analysis of the research outputs: A case study of the Chalmers University of Technology
Research Project, 2019 – 2020

Women’s participation in science and higher education as an indicator of social and economic progress has attracted considerable attention from individual researchers and both national and international organizations. As a result, a variety of initiatives and reports have been undertaken in different parts of the world to analyse the participation of women in science, research, academia and to promote gender equality. Despite the growing recognition of the importance of gender equality and women’s participation in research and academia, no systematic analysis has yet been carried out on the large body of research in Chalmers.  Thus, this project aims to study gender differences in research at the Chalmers university of technology. This will provide a comprehensive and detailed overview to gender difference in research at Chalmers.
