MT4H Internationalisation
Research Project, 2019

Purpose and goal: The MT4H Internationalisation project has created insight and overview of the challenges that innovative Swedish medical technology companies face, as well as the possible support that exist in Sweden and within the EU. The project has identified suitable collaborations and activities and, not least, concluded agreements that enable companies and researchers that have received MT4H grants to gain access to relevant support, skills and capital in Europe.

Expected results and effects: Through a thorough analysis of innovative the needs of medical technology companies for internationalization, the project has resulted in increased insight into what existing support is working and what is missing. This has created partnerships with a number of suitable organizations, giving access to companies that have received MT4H grants to both Swedish and European competence, capital, test beds and networks. Approach and implementation: The project was carried out in close collaboration between MT4H´s regional nodes who gathered information for analysis of needs and support, opened paths to relevant networks and disseminated information directly to stakeholders and companies in the 6 regions. The project has been led by KTH.
