Urban modelling and planning tool for energy and invisible environmental factors using AI methods
Research Project, 2022
– 2023
By combining energy demand simulation with a life cycle perspective and comfort and health aspects of noise, wind, and outdoor comfort, the project will provide the basis for offering unique, integrated, sustainable renovation solutions. The main objective of the project is to develop a demonstrator for such a tool, which uses visualization and auralization to increase the understanding of energy use and environmental impact in urban planning. The evaluation of the developed planning tool will be based on user needs, information context and purpose such as 3D visualization of noise and energy use in an urban area.
