Measurement and analysis of vehicle movements among potential early adopters of electric vehicles

This proposed project for data collection, analysis and tool development generates documentation and assessment of conditions for electrification were based on actual conditions. The project's research question is: What gives vehicle usage patterns of the conditions for electrification of bilflottan among potential "early adopters"? The project will - with GPS measure car movement patterns among 100 multi-car households in an appropriate commuting distance in the Gothenburg area for two months each; - analyse the conditions from a user for the electrification of oscillating multi-car household cars by using the data collected, - develop a visualization tool to facilitate analysis of car movement patterns.
