Aim: to establish a stronger focus on urban freight within the context of Northern LEAD at Chalmers and University of Gothenburg, by: • Improving the interaction between the existing and future researchers in this area • Strengthening the networking opportunities for this inter-disciplinary research community in terms of further international contacts. • Providing a greater critical mass and also enhancing opportunities for more effective research where various skills are required. • Ensuring that the Gothenburg urban transport research cluster functions effectively and becomes better known • Further enhancing national links within Sweden The research is carried out by the research centre Northern LEAD
