Water content in paper
Research Project, 2011 – 2014

Goals/targets This application concerns a system for remote measurement of water content in thin paper layers. In this project we are planning to build and test in industrial environment a prototype of a compact moisture sensor that measures the water content in offset printing process where it is important to know the exact water content in the paper before applying the ink. The method is based on absorption/delay of THz radiation transmitted through the film.
