Optimising lignocellulosic energy crop cultivation in terms of socioeconomic and environmental sustainability
Research Project, 2016 – 2017

The project aims to show how lignocellulosic crops can be placed in a landscape for the best way to increase profitability, reduce negative and promote positive environmental effects for optimal results for the relevant stakeholders, the environment and ecosystem services, as well as to suggest processes for defining strategic plans at the landscape level that balance multiple objectives. The results are expected to provide a basis for fuel producers planning and recommendations of the authorities.
